Roundnet Malaysia was formed in October 2021 when Amir Faridz decided to return to Malaysia to start an organization after co-founding Taiwan Roundnet. Although still new, thanks to Amir's leadership, Roundnet Malaysia has burst onto the scene.

Amir was first introduced to roundnet in Malaysia when a friend of his gave him an old set. He brought the set with him when he moved to Taiwan where he co-founded Taiwan Roundnet. He has taken his experience to officially form a roundnet organization in his home country of Malaysia. Amir is a commercial airline pilot and travels all of the world bringing his roundnet set with him everywhere.
